A blood donation drive was organized alongside the health camp, during which students of the institute and local youth enthusiastically donated blood. A total of 92 units of blood were collected, which will help meet the medical needs of patients requiring blood transfusions.
Zeenat Kausar, Secretary of the institute, said that a large number of people from Irba village and nearby areas attended the camp to benefit from the free healthcare services. She noted that many people in rural areas often miss timely medical check-ups due to financial constraints or concerns about the high cost of hospital treatment, resulting in the neglect of health issues. Regular health screenings help detect diseases at an early stage, enabling timely treatment and preventing serious complications.
She further stated that the Florence Group of Institutions organizes such free medical camps every year with the objective of providing quality healthcare services to the needy and underprivileged sections of society.
The event was attended by the institute’s Director, Dr. Shaheen Kausar, along with Abu Nasr Bahauddin Ansari, Dr. Manoj Katwal, Ashutosh Behera, Musharraf Hussain, Shakeel Parvez, Ejaz Ahmed, Manjar, Shubham Kumar, Mazhar Ansari, Kalam Ansari, Vikas Kumar, Aditya Kumar, faculty members, staff, and other distinguished guests.
