Ramgarh: As per the directions of DC, Ramgarh, Chandan Kumar, and under the guidance of the Departmental Additional Secretary of the Women and Child Development and Social Security Department, a workshop and training program was organized by the District Social Welfare Officer to eliminate gender-based violence.
During the workshop, the District Social Welfare Officer instructed all Anganwadi Sevikas/Sahayikas to conduct awareness campaigns in their respective areas to eliminate and prevent gender-based violence after the training session.
The District Social Welfare Officer, Indu Prabha Khalkho, provided detailed information on how to prevent and eliminate violence against women. She informed the participants that an awareness campaign to prevent and eliminate violence against women would be conducted in various areas of the district from November 25 to December 10, 2024. The campaign will provide important information through which complaints related to atrocities against women can be addressed and resolved.
The workshop was attended by the Child Development Project Officer, Ramgarh District, the Women’s Investigator, and all officers and staff members of the District Child Protection Unit.
