WhatsApp number 9430328080 activated for quick resolution of grievances in Ranchi district.
Ranchi: DC Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, reviewed the complaints received on WhatsApp number 9430328080 and issued necessary instructions to ensure their prompt resolution. The review meeting was held in the conference hall of the Collectorate, with all BDOs, COs and other departmental officials in attendance. Out of the total 80 complaints received under the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyyaan Samman Yojana, 42 have been resolved, while action is ongoing for the remaining 38 complaints. DC directed extensive publicity of the WhatsApp number at the panchayat level so that people from remote rural areas can easily reach out to the district administration.
During the review of complaints related to the Abua Awas Yojana, DC Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri instructed the BDOs to focus on completing housing projects. He also emphasized submitting progress reports. Once a significant number of houses are completed, a collective housewarming ceremony for beneficiaries will be organized. Discussing complaints related to mining, DC Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri instructed the District Mining Officer to take strict action in cases of illegal mining. He also directed the launch of a special campaign against illegal mining.
DC emphasized the importance of direct engagement with the public and resolving their grievances promptly. He instructed BDOs and COs to ensure that all employees are present in their offices on time and to prevent unnecessary gatherings of external individuals at government offices.
DC urged officials to prioritize the resolution of all complaints to strengthen public trust in the administration. During the review of complaints related to Ranchi Municipal Corporation, he directed officials to address issues concerning streetlights, cleanliness, fogging, illegal parking, and other civic services without delay. This initiative by the Ranchi district administration marks a significant step towards providing efficient services to citizens and ensuring the timely resolution of their grievances.
