Sarhul Festival: Grand Celebration at Manrakhan Mahto Group of Institutions
Ranchi – The Sarhul Festival, a symbol of nature and cultural prosperity, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Manrakhan Mahto Group of Institutions, BIT More, Kedal, on Saturday. The event commenced with a vibrant cultural program presented by the trainees in traditional attire. Through various folk songs, dances, and cultural performances, the rich heritage and traditions of the tribal community were beautifully showcased.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of the institution, Manrakhan Mahto, emphasized, “Sarhul is a festival that reflects our rich cultural heritage and deep reverence for nature. It inspires us to preserve our traditions and pass them on to future generations.”
The Director of the institution, Manoj Kumar Mahto, added, “Sarhul teaches us to live in harmony with nature and conveys a strong message of environmental conservation. Additionally, this festival plays a vital role in strengthening social unity and brotherhood.”
The event was graced by the presence of the institution’s trustees Virendranath Ohdar, Khushboo Singh, and Kriti Kajal, along with Manager Mukesh Kumar, Administrator Meena Kumari, and Poonam Kumari. Additionally, the principals of different colleges under the Manrakhan Mahto Group of Institutions graced the occasion — Dr. Dudheshwar Mahto (Principal, Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College), Chitravel V (Principal, Manrakhan Mahto Nursing College), Ragini Kumari (Principal, Manrakhan Mahto Pharmacy College), and D.K. Sharma (Principal, Manrakhan Mahto Paramedical College).
The festival witnessed the enthusiastic participation of faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students, making it a grand and memorable celebration.
