Revenue Settlement Camp Held in Ormanjhi, 30 Farmers Receive Land Reform Certificates

Ranchi: A significant revenue settlement camp was organized on Tuesday at the Ormanjhi Block and Circle Office in Ranchi district, in accordance with government instructions and the orders of the Ranchi Deputy Commissioner. In this camp, land-related issues of 30 farmers from the Sadma and Chandra Panchayats were addressed, and they were provided with land reform certificates.

The Deputy Leader of the Legislative Party and MLA of Khijri Assembly, Rajesh Kachhap, was present as the chief guest. During the camp, MLA Rajesh Kachhap mentioned that issues such as land mutation, Panje-2 correction, boundary demarcation, and other land-related matters of the 30 farmers from Sadma and Chandra Panchayats were resolved. He assured that similar cases from other Panchayats would be addressed soon to ensure that the public receives maximum benefits.

The MLA also directed the officers to ensure that essential documents, such as caste certificates, residential certificates, and other necessary documents, are issued within a maximum of 10 days, as these certificates are required by students and citizens for education and employment purposes. He emphasized that delays in issuing these documents could lead to a decrease in public trust in the administration, causing inconvenience to the people.

Additionally, MLA Rajesh Kachhap instructed the officers that if a farmer wishes to carry out a land settlement work for up to 50 acres, it should be done free of charge, without any fees being charged. He also discussed the Indira Gandhi National Pension Scheme, stating that while the state contributes 80%, the central government contributes 20%. He proposed that if the 20% contribution from the center is not forthcoming, the state government should consider providing the 800 rupees from its share to ensure that elderly parents’ accounts do not remain empty.

Circle Officer Ujjwal Soren mentioned that revenue matters are being quickly resolved as per the instructions of the government and the Ranchi DC. Meanwhile, Block Development Officer Kameshwar Bedia informed that there are some technical issues with the ‘Maiya Samman Yojana,’ but assured that these would be resolved soon so that the benefits can reach the public on time. He also shared information about the ‘Abua Awas Yojana,’ stating that the initial target of 646 beneficiaries has been completed, and 855 new beneficiaries have been approved for housing.

The camp was attended by Rizwan Ansari, Kamisner Munda, Tulsi Kharwar, Premnath Munda, Suresh Sahu, Safiullah Ansari, Ramesh Chandra Oraon, Babulal Mahli, Harimohan Mahto, Rasid Ansari, Mobarak Ansari, Suraj Pathan, Mobin Ansari, Naushad Alam, along with hundreds of people and staff members from the Circle Office.
