District Magistrate Inspects Event Venue for President Draupadi Murmu’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration at BIT Mesra
Ranchi: District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, inspected the venue for the Platinum Jubilee Year Celebration (2024-2025) program of Honorable President of India, Draupadi Murmu, which is scheduled to be held on February 15, 2025, at the G.P. Birla Auditorium, BIT Mesra. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the arrangements and held a meeting with all relevant officers at the venue. They discussed in detail all aspects of security and other arrangements in light of the President’s upcoming visit. The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned officials to ensure that security, seating arrangements, parking, and all other preparations are completed on time. The district administration is making all necessary preparations for the event, and security measures are being implemented. A route plan, traffic plan, barricading along the route, and extensive security arrangements are being made. Vehicle checks and adherence to other security guidelines will be carried out during the President’s arrival.
Present at the meeting were Dr. Indranil Manna, Vice Chancellor of BIT Mesra, Chandan Kumar Sinha, DIG and Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Deputy Development Commissioner of Ranchi, Rajkumar Mehta, City Superintendent of Police, Ranchi, Utkarsh Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) Ranchi, Ramnarayan Singh, Additional Collector of Ranchi, Rajeshwar Nath Alok, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Ranchi, Dr. Sudesh Kumar, District Magistrate (Nazarat) Ranchi, Dr. Sudip Das, Registrar of BIT Mesra, Ranchi, and officials from the Building Construction, Drinking Water Department, Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Road Construction Department, and other concerned departments.
