Pledge for Water Conservation: World Water Day Celebrated at Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College
Ranchi: World Water Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the premises of Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College. The event was inaugurated by the college Chairman, Honorable Manrakhan Mahto.
In his address, he emphasized the significance of water, stating, “Water is an integral part of our lives, and its reckless usage can be harmful not only to us but also to the entire environment. We must take serious steps toward water conservation.”
The college principal, Dr. Dudheswar Mahto, also shared his thoughts on the importance of World Water Day. He highlighted that the water crisis is becoming a global issue, and it is our responsibility to be aware and contribute to water conservation.
On this occasion, various competitions were organized, in which Gandhi House secured first place, Vivekananda House came second, and Tagore House secured third place.

The primary objective of the event was to spread awareness among students and staff about water conservation and its significance.
The event was graced by the presence of College Trustee Virendra Nath Ohdar, Director Manoj Kumar Mahto, Manager Mukesh Kumar, Administrators Meena Kumari and Poonam Kumari, faculty members Khushbu Singh and Kriti Kajal, along with all teaching and non-teaching staff and trainees of the college.
