Peace Committee Meeting on Jashn-e-Eid Miladunnabi
Meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri
Ranchi:- On the occasion of Jashn-e-Eid Miladunnabi, a peace committee meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, to ensure that the festival is celebrated in a peaceful, harmonious, and well-organized manner.
The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Ranchi Chandan Sinha, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Rajeshwarnath Alok, Sub-Divisional Officer Ranchi Sadar Utkarsh Kumar, City Superintendent of Police Ajit Kumar, along with members of the Peace Committee.
During the meeting, a detailed review of the preparations for the procession scheduled on 05 September 2025 from urban and rural areas of the district was conducted. Special discussions were held regarding traffic management, cleanliness, drinking water supply, and security arrangements.
Peace committee members requested the administration to ensure smooth traffic flow along the procession route. They also emphasized the need for tanker arrangements for drinking water at various points and special cleanliness measures at Karbala Chowk, Anjuman Plaza, Iqra Masjid Chowk, Overbridge, and Resaldar Baba’s Mazar.
Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri directed all concerned officers to ensure proper arrangements on the procession route so that Jashn-e-Eid Miladunnabi could be celebrated in a peaceful and harmonious environment. SSP Chandan Sinha assured that strict measures for law and order would be taken and adequate police deployment would be ensured at sensitive locations.
The officials and peace committee members unanimously stated that Eid Miladunnabi symbolizes mutual brotherhood, social harmony, and religious unity, and that the collective participation of the district administration, police administration, and the general public is crucial for its successful observance.
Those present in the meeting included Aqeelur Rahman, Mohammad Islam, Mohammad Parvez, Mohammad Tajuddin, Jai Singh Yadav, Mohammad Shahnawaz, Sagar Kumar, Mohammad Abdullah, Qazi Masood Faridi, Mohammad Aftab Alam, Paramjit Singh, Parvez Alam, Mohammad Nizamuddin, Mohammad Jasim Hasan, Maulana Qutubuddin Rizvi, Mufti Jameel Ahmed, Qari Ayub, Haji Saud, and Haji Buland.
