Peace Committee Meeting Concludes: Emphasis on Maintaining Harmony During Holi and Ramadan
Sikidiri: In view of the upcoming Holi festival and the holy month of Ramadan, an important meeting of the Peace Committee was held on Tuesday at the Sikidiri Police Station premises. The meeting was presided over by Station In-Charge Deepak Kumar Sinha, while the proceedings were conducted by Congress leader Farooq Khan.

At the outset of the meeting, Station In-Charge Deepak Kumar Sinha highlighted the significance of both festivals, stating that Holi and Ramadan symbolize our rich cultural heritage and the spirit of mutual love and brotherhood. He appealed to all communities to celebrate the festivals in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere.
During the meeting, Senior Social Worker and Former Deputy Pramukh of Ormanjhi, Muntazir Ahmed Raza, also shared his views. He stated that both Holi and Ramadan convey the message of unity, love, and harmony. In times like these, all sections of society must come together to maintain mutual goodwill. He assured the administration of his full support and urged everyone to maintain peace and discipline.
The meeting included an in-depth discussion on security arrangements, sanitation, traffic management, and potential issues. Station In-Charge Deepak Kumar Sinha informed attendees about the preventive measures and preparations being undertaken by the administration and requested citizens to promptly report any untoward incidents or suspicious activities to the police.
The meeting saw the participation of several prominent public representatives, social workers, and respected citizens, including Panchayat Samiti member Aamir Hamza Ansari, social worker Khalik Khan, Former Mukhiya Rajesh Pahan, Former Mukhiya Neelmohan Pahan, Village Pradhan Shivdhar Rajwar, Mukhiya Nazreen Parveen, Mukhiya Rajendra Bedia, Anita Barla, Shravan Kumar Munda, Shafiq Ansari, Akbar Khan, Sheikh Sajuddin, Sheikh Asgar, Baleshwar Bedia, Nirmal Karmali, and Ganesh Kumar Mahto.
All participants pledged their full cooperation with the administration and committed to celebrating the festivals in a peaceful, harmonious, and joyful manner.
