Ranchi: DC Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, conducted a surprise inspection of the Ormanjhi Block-Cum-Circle Office on December 18, 2024.

Strict Monitoring of Attendance

As soon as he reached the office, the DC checked the attendance of all officers and staff. He firmly stated that those failing to mark biometric attendance would be considered absent. He instructed all employees to report to the office on time and ensure their biometric attendance is recorded.

Detailed Review of Office Operations

The DC conducted a comprehensive review of all activities being executed in the Block and Circle offices. He inspected logbooks, inward-outward registers, cashbooks, files, public grievances, pension records, and other essential documents. He directed all officers to ensure the prompt resolution of applications to prevent unnecessary inconvenience to citizens. Additionally, he instructed the Block Development Officer (BDO), Circle Officer (CO), and other employees to promote the district administration’s “Abua Saathi” WhatsApp number 9430328080 for grievance redressal.

During the inspection, the DC toured the office premises and instructed that proper cleanliness be maintained throughout the area.

The DC issued a stern directive to the Ormanjhi BDO, stating that no middlemen should be allowed to enter the Block-Cum-Circle Office premises. He warned that any complaints related to middlemen or irregularities would be met with immediate action.
