MLA Rajesh Kachhap Flagged Off the Historic Pilgrimage to Sirsi Ta Naale from Sadma Sarna Site
Ranchi – Sirsi Ta Naale, located in Dumri block of Gumla district, is an important religious site for the tribal community. Situated amidst 1000-feet high mountains and dense forests, this place is a symbol of the deep faith of the tribal community. Anjan Munda, at the age of 12, had vowed to embark on a pilgrimage by fasting for 57 weeks from the age of 25 and offer water at Sirsi Ta Naale. Following this tradition, hundreds of Sarna followers from the Ormanjhi area are participating in this historic pilgrimage this year.

The journey began on January 27, 2025, from the Sadma Sarna site, where, under the banner of the 22 Padha Sarna Prayer Assembly, the Chief Guest, Deputy Leader of the Legislative Party and MLA of Khijri Assembly Constituency, Rajesh Kachhap, flagged off the pilgrims by draping them with the Sarna flag and shawl. MLA Rajesh Kachhap blessed the pilgrims and wished them peace and prosperity during their journey.
