Mehndi Competition Organized During Sawan Festival at Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College

Ranchi:- On the auspicious occasion of the Sawan Festival, a Mehndi competition was organized at Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College. Trainees from M.Ed., B.Ed., and D.El.Ed. programs participated in the event. The program was inaugurated by the esteemed Chairman of the college, Manrakhan Mahto. Students actively took part in the competition, showcasing their talents by applying a variety of traditional and modern mehndi designs on their hands. The participants were judged based on beauty, creativity, and presentation.

The winners of the competition were:

First Prize: Shivani Kumari (B.Ed. 2024–2026)

Second Prize: Madhu Kumari and Anshu Kumari (B.Ed. 2024–2026)

Third Prize: Reena Kumari (D.El.Ed. 2025–2027) and Shraddha Kumari (B.Ed. 2024–2026)

The Chairman Manrakhan Mahto remarked that the month of Sawan is not only religiously significant but also symbolizes the creativity of nature. He praised all the participants for their enthusiastic involvement and congratulated the winners. Director Manoj Kumar Mahto stated that the mehndi competition is not only a way to preserve our cultural heritage but also serves as a powerful platform to highlight the creativity and artistic talents of the students. The Principal added that such events provide students with an opportunity to showcase their skills and stay connected with Indian culture.

On this occasion, Trustee Virendranath Ohdar, Khushboo Singh, Kriti Kajal, Manager Mukesh Kumar, Administrator Meena Kumari and Poonam Kumari, along with faculty members, non-teaching staff, and trainees, were present.
