Manan Vidya Manrakhan Mahto School Celebrates 17th Annual Day with Focus on Moral Values

Ranchi – The 17th Annual Celebration at Manan Vidya Manrakhan Mahto School was held on Sunday, with the theme “The Importance of Moral Values in Life.” This event was organized to promote education, values, and moral principles within the school. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi, the special guest Colonel Santosh Kumar, Commanding Officer 3 Jharkhand, Ranchi, Chairman Manrakhan Mahto, Director Manoj Kumar Mahto, Principal Rekha Naidu, and other distinguished guests.

The fifth issue of the school magazine, Manan Vistaa, was released by the chief guest Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, the special guest Colonel Santosh Kumar, and other dignitaries. The principal, Rekha Naidu, presented the annual report (2023-24) and praised the children’s talent, emphasizing that participation in such programs helps in the overall and moral development of the children. She also spoke about the importance of values.

During the event, students who excelled in academics and co-curricular activities were honored with awards. Their bright future was wished for. The chief guest appreciated the students’ outstanding performance, encouraged them, and conveyed a message of holistic development alongside education.

All students of the school participated in the program. The event began with a welcome song. Through a dance-drama, 270 students together raised awareness about the importance of values and social morals in the modern age. With a performance of Sambalpuri dance, the children staged a play on the topic of “Challenging Upbringing in the Modern Age,” highlighting the challenges of upbringing in a changing world.

On this occasion, the chief guest Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava (Director, IIM Ranchi), the special guest Colonel Santosh Kumar (Commanding Officer 3 Jharkhand Ranchi), Chairman Manrakhan Mahto, Urmila Devi, Trustee Member Virendra Nath Ohdar, Khushboo Singh, Kriti Kajal, Director Manoj Kumar Mahto, Principal Rekha Naidu, Manager Mukesh Kumar, Administrator Meena Kumari, teachers, and a large number of parents were present.

The program was conducted by Prachi Jaiswal, a student of class 11, and Arohi Prasad, a student of class 10. The vote of thanks was delivered by the school’s head girl, Anya Rai. The program concluded with the national anthem.
