Khijri MLA Lays Foundation Stones for Multiple Development Projects
Pledged to Build Paved Roads in Every Street and Locality – MLA Rajesh Kachhap
Ranchi: Khijri MLA and Deputy Leader of the Congress Legislative Party, Rajesh Kachhap, laid the foundation stones for several key development projects in the Namkum block under the Khijri Assembly constituency. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that ensuring paved roads in every street and locality of Khijri is one of his top priorities.
The following projects were inaugurated during the ceremony:
- Under the Chief Minister Rural Road Strengthening Scheme, a 1.95-kilometre road will be strengthened from Tetri to Sahera.

2. Under the jurisdiction of the Ranchi Regional Development Authority (RRDA), PCC road construction will take place from the northern side of Kocha Toli in Khijri village to Naya Tola of Vikas Nagar across several lanes, with a sanctioned cost of ₹2,42,28,900.

3. Also under the RRDA, PCC roads will be constructed in various lanes from Kocha Toli to Naya Toli in Vikas Nagar, Khijri, with a sanctioned budget of ₹2,47,42,700.

During the foundation ceremony, MLA Rajesh Kachhap remarked:
“Any form of negligence in development work will not be tolerated. My goal is to ensure every street in the Khijri constituency has paved roads, providing smoother and safer connectivity for all residents.”
The announcement of these projects brought visible joy among local villagers, who expressed their gratitude to the MLA and termed the road construction a major step forward for the region’s development.
