Karma Cricket Club’s Explosive Victory Secures Spot in Semifinals
Ranchi:- The Haji Ehsaan Ansari Memorial Knockout Night Cricket Tournament 2025, organized under the aegis of Florence Group of Institutions, Irba, is currently being held at the Irba Football Ground. This prestigious tournament will continue until April 15, 2025, culminating in a grand final match. A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament. Each match consists of 8 overs, including a 3-over powerplay.
In the Super Knockout match, Karma Cricket Club put up a strong performance by scoring 71 runs for the loss of 8 wickets after batting first. In response, Kute 11 put up a good fight but could only manage 63 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 8 overs, falling short by 8 runs.
After sealing victory in the Super Knockout stage, Karma Cricket Club faced MM Club, Irba in the Pre-Quarterfinals. Batting first, Karma scored 42 runs for 6 wickets in 6 overs. Chasing the target, MM Club collapsed under pressure and was bowled out for just 22 runs, losing 8 wickets.
In the Quarterfinals, Karma went head-to-head with Irfan 11, Dahu. Batting first, Karma Cricket Club posted a competitive total of 44 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 6 overs. In reply, Irfan 11, Dahu struggled and were all out for just 23 runs after losing 9 wickets in their 6 overs.
With three consecutive wins under their belt, Karma Cricket Club has now advanced to the semifinals and is being considered one of the strongest contenders for the championship. The team’s consistent performance has generated great excitement among supporters, and all eyes are now set on the upcoming semifinal clash.
