International Paramedical Day Celebrated at Manrakhan Mahto Paramedical College
Manrakhan Mahto Paramedical College — Students Visit Sadar Hospital on International Paramedical Day
Ranchi: International Paramedical Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, respect, and dignity at Manrakhan Mahto Paramedical College. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and cake-cutting by the College President, Hon’ble Manrakhan Mahto.

On this occasion, he stated that paramedical professionals are the backbone of the healthcare system. He highlighted that the dedication and courage shown by paramedical staff during the COVID-19 pandemic was truly commendable and remains an inspiring example for society.
College Director Manoj Kumar Mahto emphasized that paramedical professionals selflessly devote themselves to serving humanity without any publicity. He added that it is the duty of all of us to honour and encourage their invaluable contribution.
Addressing the trainees, College Principal Dr. D.K. Sharma said that every year, 8th July is celebrated as International Paramedical Day to express gratitude towards all paramedics around the world who have continued to serve humanity selflessly, even in the most challenging circumstances.
During the programme, students presented a group dance and shared their thoughts, drawing inspiration to contribute to the paramedical field.

After the celebrations, the students were taken on an educational visit to the laboratory at Sadar Hospital, Ranchi. Under the direction of Deputy Superintendent Dr. Bimlesh Singh, and in the presence of Lab Technician In-Charge Santosh Kumar Mandal, Lab Technician Nitish Kumar gave the students detailed information about the functioning of various departments and laboratory equipment and provided them with a practical demonstration of the working procedures.
On this occasion, College Trustee Virendranath Ohdar, Khushboo Singh, Kriti Kajal, Manager Mukesh Kumar, Administrators Meena Kumari and Poonam Kumari were present. In addition, Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College Principal Dr. Dudheshwar Mahto, Manrakhan Mahto Nursing College Principal Chitravel V., and Manrakhan Mahto Pharmacy College Principal Ragini Kumari, along with faculty members, non-teaching staff, and trainees from all colleges, also participated in the programme.
