■ Inaugurates Jharkhand Girls’ Residential School, Dulmi

Ramgarh: On Monday, Hon’ble Minister of School Education & Literacy and Registration Department, Jharkhand Government, Ramdas Soren, visited Ramgarh district. During his visit, he inaugurated the Jharkhand Girls’ Residential School in Chamrom under Dulmi Panchayat of Dulmi Block in the presence of Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi, Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Chandan Kumar, other public representatives, and officials.

In his address, the Minister extended his best wishes to all the students on the occasion of the school’s inauguration. He highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the education department is making every effort to provide all possible educational facilities to the children of the state. He informed that there are currently 80 “CM Schools of Excellence” operational in the state, and 80 more such schools will soon be established.

The Minister emphasized that education is the pathway to eliminating poverty and contributing to the development of the nation and society. He also provided insights into the government’s initiatives in education, health, and migration. Furthermore, he discussed key state government programs such as “Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar” and other welfare schemes. The Minister assured that efforts are underway to review and fill vacant positions in the education department systematically.

Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi congratulated all the students and appreciated the cultural performances by the children. She elaborated on the state government’s efforts in the education sector and expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren for his vision and consistent efforts. She praised the recently launched Panchayat Gyan Kendra and urged everyone to utilize it fully. She also appreciated the district administration’s initiative in introducing the Philo App for educational purposes and encouraged all students to benefit from it.

Deputy Commissioner of Ramgarh, Chandan Kumar, praised the performances by the students of Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ Residential School and remarked on their immense potential. He stated, “The next 15 years will be crucial for the development of women, and hence, all students must focus on their education to make a name for themselves and the nation.”

He also assured immediate action on MLA Mamta Devi’s suggestion to install CCTV cameras in the girls’ residential schools. Additionally, he shared updates on the initiatives for introducing martial arts training in all residential schools and mentioned plans to provide facilities for extracurricular activities like sports and music alongside academics.

The inauguration ceremony featured captivating performances by students from Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ Residential Schools of Ramgarh and Gola, along with the students of Jharkhand Girls’ Residential School, Dulmi. These included songs, dances, and street plays.

The welcome address was delivered by District Education Officer Kumari Neelam, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Deputy Development Commissioner Robin Toppo. The event also witnessed a plantation drive conducted by the Minister, MLA, Deputy Commissioner, and other dignitaries.
