Harmony Echoed on Ram Navami: A Glorious Display of Ganga-Jamuni Culture in Kokdoro and Balu

Ranchi: On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the villages of Kokdoro and Balu in Kanke block witnessed a remarkable example of social harmony and the spirit of Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb (syncretic culture). The Anjuman Islamia Committee of Kokdoro and the Balu Anjuman Committee extended a heartfelt welcome to the devotees participating in the Ram Navami procession. Devotees were offered chilled water, jaggery, and roasted gram, sending a strong message of brotherhood and unity.

A grand stage was set up in Balu village for the event, where Pithoria police station in-charge Abhay Kumar was present as the chief guest. In front of the stage, a traditional arms demonstration took place, in which Muslim youth also participated, presenting a living example of communal harmony. This event wasn’t just a celebration of tradition and culture, but a testimony that when faith, religion, and humanity walk hand in hand, society ascends to a higher plane.

The event saw the presence of several dignitaries including Former Zila Parishad Member and President of Anjuman Islamia Committee Kokdoro Majid Ansari, Mukhiya Ujjwal Pahan, Ruhul Ansari, Md. Parvez Alam, Azhar Alam, Safdar Sultan Ansari, Rizwan Ahmed, Suresh Ram, Ranganath Ram, Manoj Ram, Umesh Ram, Shambhu Singh, Haseeb Ansari, Zakir Ansari, Alam Ansari, Meraj Ahmed and many others.

Devotees who took part in the procession wholeheartedly appreciated the gesture, saying such initiatives not only spread positivity in society but also strengthen communal harmony.
