Abu Nasar’s Remarkable Contribution – Gratitude Expressed by Players and Spectators

Ranchi: Under the aegis of Florence Group of Institutions, Irba, the Haji Ehsan Ansari Memorial Knockout Night Cricket Tournament concluded with the final match where Ataullah Brothers Pundag defeated KCC Karma by 9 wickets to lift the title. Winning the toss in the final, KCC Karma opted to bat first and scored 67 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 8 overs. Wasi Akram was the top scorer for the team with 26 runs off 20 balls, hitting two sixes and one four.

Chasing the target, Ataullah Brothers Pundag achieved the victory in just 5.5 overs, losing only one wicket. Team captain Irfan Farhat played a blazing unbeaten knock of 34 runs off 20 balls, including two sixes and three fours, earning him the ‘Man of the Match’ award.

Following the final match, the Haji Ehsan Ansari Educational Welfare Trust awarded the winning team with a trophy and a cheque of ₹71,000/-. The runner-up team received ₹41,000/-, while the third and fourth place teams were awarded ₹10,000/- each as a cash prize. Tournament Patron Abu Nasar Bahauddin Ansari formally concluded the tournament by expressing heartfelt thanks to all members, players, spectators, and supporters for their significant contributions to the tournament’s success.
