Florence Group of Institutions Raises Awareness Through Rally and Street Play on AIDS
Ranchi: On the occasion of World AIDS Day, Florence Group of Institutions organized a rally and street play to eliminate misconceptions about AIDS and spread awareness. The event took place at SS High School, Block Chowk, Ormanjhi, where the institution’s students participated by conducting a rally and performing a street play to educate the public about AIDS-related diseases, preventive measures, and important facts about the disease.

The Secretary of the institution, Zeenat Kausar, provided detailed information about the primary causes of AIDS transmission. She explained that unsafe sexual relations, the exchange of infected blood, and transmission from an infected mother to her child are the major ways AIDS spreads. She further clarified that AIDS weakens the body’s ability to fight infections, making individuals more susceptible to other diseases. The Secretary also emphasized that there are many misconceptions in society regarding AIDS, which need to be addressed so that people can understand the real facts about the disease and adopt preventive measures to ensure their safety.
The event was attended by Kameshwar Bediya, BDO of Ormanjhi, Ujjwal Soren, CO of Ormanjhi, Anil Tiwari, Inspector of Ormanjhi Police Station, Rizwan Ansari, Dr. Nazneen Kausar, Sudhir Kumar Kuntiya, Sanjeev Kumar Kar, Ashutosh Behera, along with all faculty members and staff of the institution.
