Florence Group of Institutions Celebrated World Pharmacist Day with Great Enthusiasm
Ranchi:- World Pharmacist Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on September 25, 2025, at the Florence Group of Institutions in Irba. A grand event was organized on the campus, which commenced with the lighting of lamps, cake cutting, and colorful cultural performances by students. The chief guest was Dr. Sujit Kumar, Joint Director (Drugs), Drug Controller Directorate, Government of Jharkhand. Institute Secretary Zeenat Kausar and Director Dr. Shaheen Kausar were also present as special guests. In his address, Chief Guest Dr. Sujit Kumar said that World Pharmacist Day is an opportunity to honor all healthcare leaders who play a vital role in the well-being of society and saving lives. Institute Secretary Zeenat Kausar expressed her views, stating that in today’s era, when healthcare challenges are constantly increasing, the role of a pharmacist becomes extremely important. Pharmacists work alongside doctors and nurses to provide the best possible treatment to patients. They serve society by disseminating information about the latest medicines and their research.
Present on this occasion were the institute’s Principal, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Ashutosh Behera, Shakeel Parvez, Sourav Biswas, Manoranjan Kumar, Piyush Kumar, Lilufa Yasmin, Mazhar Ansari, Anjali Kumari, Rachna Kumari, Aditya Pawan, Mahitosh Pradhan, Satyajit Mohanty, faculty members, and a large number of students.
