First-Ever Robotics Workshop in Ormanjhi: BNN International School Writes a New Chapter in Technological History

One-Day Workshop on Quality Education with Robotics Held at BNN International School

Ranchi: A one-day workshop on “Quality Education with Robotics” was organized on Saturday at the auditorium of BNN International School (B.N. Nisa Technical Educational Society), located in Irba under Ormanjhi block of Ranchi district.

This was the first and only robotics workshop conducted in the Ormanjhi block and is being recognized as a historic step in advancing technical education in the region.

Students of BNN International School participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm and active involvement. The primary aim of the program was to introduce students to modern science and technology—particularly emerging fields like coding, automation, and robotics—and to inspire them toward innovation.

During the seminar, robotics expert Kanishk Singh provided students with detailed insights into the fundamental concepts of robotics, its functioning, and its academic and industrial applications. Through practical sessions, students learned how to build robots, perform coding, and directly engage with sensor and automation technologies. Interactive demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and hands-on learning contributed significantly to enhancing students’ confidence and technical understanding.

🔹 Anwar Ahmad Ansari, Vice President of the All India Congress Committee Minority Department and Secretary of BNN International School, said:

“Technical education is the need of the hour. When institutions like BNN International School prioritize subjects like robotics, they empower children to face future challenges. Such workshops are milestones on the path to building a technologically enriched society.”

🔹 Kanishk Singh, Robotics Expert, said:

“Developing technical understanding in students is only possible when they are given opportunities for hands-on experience. Through this workshop, children not only learned the fundamentals of robotics but also understood the process of building robots—which is highly commendable.”

🔹 Hedayat Ullah, Head of Consulting and Trainer at Quality Education, said:

“Our goal is to make science and technology easily understandable in the language of children. Workshop is the foundation of a bright future.”

🔹 Aneesh Jahan Ansari, Principal of BNN International School, said:

“The purpose of education is not just to pass exams but to prepare for life. Technology, innovation, and the freedom to think—these are the pillars of 21st-century education, and BNN International School is actively working in this direction.”

Speakers also referred to the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and highlighted that education is no longer limited to textbook knowledge. It now emphasizes skill-based learning, experiential training, technological integration, and innovation.

In line with this policy, BNN International School is equipping students with essential life skills—such as problem-solving, creativity, and leadership—through facilities like smart classrooms, modern laboratories, and a dedicated robotics lab.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the school administration announced that similar technical workshops, innovation-driven programs, and academic activities at national and international levels will continue to be organized regularly in the future. These initiatives will not only make students technically proficient but also confident, creative, and capable leaders.

The event was graced by Anwar Ahmad Ansari (Vice President of AICC Minority Department and Secretary of BNN International School), Kanishk Singh (Robotics Expert), Hedayat Ullah, Director Dr. Shahanshah Alam, Principal Aneesh Jahan Ansari, N. Alam, Musadquek Ansari, Sagufta Yasmeen, Jyoti Kumari, Anju Kumari, Kajal Kumari, Sana Khan, Naushin Firdous, Manisha Rani, Anand Tirkey, Khushi Naj, along with all the teaching, non-teaching staff, and trainees of BNN International School.
