Ranchi:- The Haji Ehsan Ansari Memorial Knockout Night Cricket Tournament, organized under the aegis of Florence Group of Institutions, Irba, is being held with great enthusiasm at the Haji Abdur Razzaque Ansari Football Stadium, located in the Ormanjhi block of Ranchi district. The tournament is drawing large crowds, and the energy and excitement of the players is truly a sight to behold.
On Monday, a special match in the tournament was ceremoniously inaugurated in the gracious presence of Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi, Sudhir Maglesh, and Father Deepak Kujur. The event began with MLA Mamta Devi symbolically hitting a shot with the bat, marking the official start of the tournament.

In her address, the MLA remarked, “Sports are an integral part of life. They not only promote physical and mental well-being, but also foster discipline, leadership, and team spirit among the youth. Such tournaments provide an excellent platform for local talent to shine. I congratulate the organizing committee for this commendable initiative.”
So far, Pundag 11 and Neori 11 have secured their spots in the semi-finals with impressive performances. On the upcoming Tuesday, the first semi-final match will be played between Haji Ehsan Ansari Cricket Club and Karma Cricket Club. This will be followed by the second semi-final between Pundag 11 and Neori 11. The winners of both matches will face off in the grand final.
Present on the occasion were Abu Nasar Bahauddin, Musharraf Hussain, Shakil Parwez, Sarfaraz Shahidi, Sadique, Tausif, and several other local dignitaries and sports enthusiasts.
