Condolence Meetings Held in Ranchi Schools on the Demise of Education Minister Ramdas Soren

Heartfelt tributes paid in all 2,128 government and aided schools of the district

Ranchi:— Deep sorrow was expressed across all primary schools of Ranchi district on the untimely demise of the Hon’ble Minister for School Education, Literacy and Registration, Ramdas Soren. In his honor, condolence meetings were organized in 2,128 government and government-aided schools of the district. Approximately 2.5 lakh students and 10,000 teachers participated in these meetings, offering heartfelt tributes to the late minister for his unparalleled contributions to the field of education and his visionary leadership. During the morning assemblies, a two-minute silence was observed in all schools as a mark of respect. On this occasion, teachers shared with students the inspiring life journey of Randas Soren—his struggles, his unwavering commitment to education, and his remarkable efforts in expanding access to quality education, particularly in tribal and rural areas. Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Manjunath Bhajantri, in his condolence message, said “Ramdas Soren’s demise is not only an irreparable loss to Jharkhand’s politics and the field of education, but also to the entire society. His life and work will always remain a source of inspiration for all of us.” The Ranchi District Administration and Education Department expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family of Late Ramdas Soren and prayed for eternal peace to his soul. The administration further stated that his commitment and dedication towards education will continue to guide and inspire generations to come.
