Administrative work continues from ancestral residence in Nemra

Ramgarh: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is currently going through one of the most difficult phases of his life following the demise of his father, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren. Even after five days, his eyes remain tearful and his heart deeply grieved. Yet, he remains fully committed to fulfilling his responsibilities as head of the state. From his ancestral residence in Nemra, located in Ramgarh district, the Chief Minister is simultaneously performing the traditional post-funeral rites of his late father while also overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the state administration with dedication and seriousness. Despite the emotional turmoil, Chief Minister Soren continues to remain sensitive and attentive to matters of public interest. He is in constant communication with senior officials, issuing necessary instructions and closely monitoring developments. He has clearly directed officers to ensure that public grievances are resolved promptly, and has warned that any negligence or laxity will not be tolerated. He has further instructed all concerned departments to keep him updated regularly and to seek his guidance wherever required.

“People’s Support Gave Me Strength to Fulfill My Duties” – Chief Minister

Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his gratitude to the people of Jharkhand, saying:

“In this time of sorrow, after the passing of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, the way the people of the state stood by me and my family gave me the strength to carry on my responsibilities.”

“Fulfilling the Promises Made to Baba Is Now My Solemn Duty”

In an emotional tone, the Chief Minister said:

“Baba always used to say that public welfare should be the highest priority in public life. He lived a life of struggle — never bowed down, never gave up. From Parliament to the streets, he relentlessly fought for the rights of Jharkhand. Whatever Jharkhand is today, it is largely because of him. Though he is no longer with us physically, his teachings and promises continue to guide me. He had extracted many commitments from me for the betterment of this state, and now it is my solemn duty to fulfill those promises. I am doing everything I can to build the Jharkhand of Baba’s dreams.”
