Chief Minister Hemant Soren Reviews Agricultural Activities in His Ancestral Village Nemra
CM Interacts with Villagers, Inquires About Their Well-being, and Recalls Childhood Memories
Nemra, Ramgarh — On Saturday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited his ancestral village, Nemra, to inspect farmlands and assess the state of agriculture. During the visit, he met farmers and women agricultural laborers engaged in paddy transplantation, learning about their challenges and needs. The Chief Minister also inquired about the well-being of the villagers and shared fond memories from his childhood.


The CM visited the Baramsia and Barka Nadi Doin areas of Nemra, where he discussed with farmers the benefits of utilizing rainwater locally. He explained that the government has a plan to channel water from small seasonal rivers to farmlands through check dams, and urged farmers to take advantage of this initiative. He encouraged them to increase productivity and income by making optimal use of local resources. “People travel to distant countries to witness such wonders of nature, yet the villages of Jharkhand are blessed with this priceless beauty,” he said. “We must remain conscious about preserving and nurturing it.”


The Chief Minister held detailed discussions with farmers regarding the current condition of crops, rainfall patterns, and the availability of fertilizers and seeds. The farmers openly shared their concerns and suggestions. CM Heman Soren assured them that the state government is consistently working to provide roads, irrigation, education, and other basic amenities to every village. He promised that all possible measures will be taken in the interest of farmers and reaffirmed that the government stands firmly with them.
Among the villagers present on the occasion were Ravidas Soren, Birju Soren, Dilka Soren, Vishwanath Besra, and Parmeshwar Soren.
