Ranchi: On the death anniversary (Martyrs’ Day) of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the entire nation is paying tribute to him today. Chief Minister Hemant Soren offered floral tributes at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Vatika, Morhabadi, Ranchi. The Chief Minister observed two minutes of silence at 11 AM in front of Bapu’s statue in honor of Mahatma Gandhi.

Bapu’s Thoughts Are a Source of Inspiration for Us

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that today holds significant meaning for all of us. Although Mahatma Gandhi is no longer among us, his thoughts and ideals will continue to guide us. His life and principles will always inspire the people of the nation. He further said that adopting Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals in our lives is the true tribute to him.

The Chief Minister also mentioned that many great personalities in our country have dedicated their entire lives to the welfare of society and the nation, and by following in their footsteps, we can move forward. He said, “Salutations to Bapu.”
