Annual General Meeting of Neori Aajeevika Mahila Cluster-Level Cooperative Committee Concludes Successfully
Kanke MLA Suresh Baitha Distributes Assets Among Women SHGs
Ranchi: The Annual General Meeting of the Neori Aajeevika Mahila Cluster-Level Primary Self-Reliant Cooperative Society Ltd. was organized on Tuesday at the Neori Panchayat Bhawan. The meeting focused on presenting the committee’s annual achievements, financial records, and a detailed discussion on the work of the livelihood women (Aajeevika Didis).
Kanke MLA Suresh Baitha, who was present as the chief guest, appreciated the efforts of the women associated with the CLF (Cluster Level Federation). He lauded their commitment toward self-reliance and acknowledged the positive impact of their work.
During the event, the MLA also distributed important financial assets to the women’s groups. The Durga Mahila Group was handed a bank loan sanction letter of 20 lakh, while the Roshni Mahila Group received a sanction letter for 6 lakh.
On this occasion, Neori Panchayat Head (Mukhiya) Sadho Oraon remarked This annual meeting is an inspiring step toward the empowerment and self-reliance of the women in our village. The hard work, honesty, and dedication shown by the Aajeevika Didis in strengthening the self-help groups is a matter of pride not only for Neori Panchayat but for the entire region. We are proud that the women of our village are running their own enterprises with the help of institutional loans and are setting an example for others. At the panchayat level, we will continue to support and encourage such initiatives.
Several public representatives and officials were present at the program, including Kanke Block Pramukh Somanath Munda,
Deputy Block Pramukh Anjay Baitha, Former District Council Member Meena Devi, Neori Mukhiya Sadho Oraon, Deputy Mukhiya Mazhar Ansari, Abhishek Kumar Rao etc. The event was successfully coordinated by Laxmi Devi, Saraswati Devi, Wajda Khatoon, and Anita Devi. Other active members like Kumari Sarita, Priyanka Kumari, Dolly Kumari, Srishti Mahato, Kartik Kumar, Appu Kumari, and Umashankar, along with all members of the CLF, were also present.
