Anjuman Islamia Hospital’s New OPD Building Inaugurated by a Patient

Ranchi— In a unique and emotional moment, the newly constructed OPD building, pathology lab, Pollution Control STF (Static Treatment Facility), and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) unit of Anjuman Islamia Hospital, Ranchi, were inaugurated by a patient currently under treatment at the hospital. Zahid Ansari, a resident of Latehar district, had the honor of cutting the ribbon to officially open these new facilities.

On the occasion, Anjuman Islamia Ranchi and the Hospital Management Committee President Mokhtar Ahmed, along with Secretary Anwar Alam, stated that in view of the growing number of patients, seven OPD chambers have been constructed. These chambers will offer specialized consultations in cardiology, ENT, ophthalmology, urology, and other medical specialties.

In addition, the newly established pathology lab will provide all types of diagnostic tests at minimal charges, with reports issued under the supervision of expert pathologists.

Following the inauguration, several individuals were honored with mementos and floral bouquets. These included Dr. Syed Iqbal for his commendable service during the COVID-19 pandemic; former secretary Md. Halimuddin, Javed Khan, and Nafees Akhtar for their key roles in the establishment and development of the hospital; Asif Ahmed, Asmat Khurshid, Dr. Hina Kalam, Naz Akhtar, Faisal Manzar, and Saud Haidari for their financial support in constructing the OPD building; and Nadeem Khan, coordinator of the organization Lahu Bolega, for organizing blood donation drives.

The event was attended by a large gathering, including members of the Anjuman Islamia Hospital Management Committee: Md. Shahid, Nadeem Iqbal, Afroz Alam, Sunny Khan, Maulana Obaidullah Qasmi, Zafar Khan, Buland Akhtar, Md. Zabi, Parvez Akhtar, S. Ali, Nehal Ahmed, Md. Farooq, Abdul Rahman, Abdul Khalid, Advocate Sultan Khan, Sarfaraz Khan, Shehzad Bablu, Shahnawaz Abbas, Kaleem Khan, Farooq Alam, Haji Saud, Sufiyan, Zafar Khan, Md. Izhar, and Md. Zabiullah, among many others.
