A Unique Display of Communal Harmony on Ram Navami in Irba: A Celebration of Ganga-Jamuni Culture
Ranchi:- On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the atmosphere at Irba Bazaar Tand was vibrant with joy, enthusiasm, and a spirit of unity. While chants of “Jai Shri Ram” resonated through the air, members of the Muslim community extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to the Ram devotees, setting a profound example of social harmony and brotherhood.
As the grand procession organized by Mahavir Mandal Koilari, Irba, arrived at Irba Bazaar Tand, a service camp was set up by the Muslim community. There, devotees were offered cool drinking water and roasted gram — a thoughtful gesture that brought relief amid the scorching sun and heat.

This act was not only a symbol of compassion but also a powerful reflection of Irba’s shared cultural heritage and the enduring spirit of the Ganga-Jamuni tradition that unites diverse communities.
Imtiyaz Ohdar, President of the Markazi Committee Irba, stated, “Our continuous effort is to ensure that people of all faiths in Irba actively participate in one another’s festivals. Today’s service initiative is living proof that humanity, mutual respect, and unity are our true religion.”
Veteran social worker Abdul Sattar Ansari added, “Irba’s identity lies in its inclusive legacy. People here always celebrate every festival together — whether it’s Holi, Eid, Muharram, or Ram Navami. That is our real strength, and it reflects the true soul of India.”
The service camp was made successful with the contributions of Imtiyaz Ohdar, Abdul Sattar Ansari, Samiullah Ansari (former Panchayat Samiti member), Haji Rustam Ansari, Sakir Ansari, Naushad Ansari, Sarfaraz Shahidi, Tariq Ohdar, Naushad Anwar, Sajid Ansari, Mujtaba Bablu, Abu Nasar Bahauddin, Musharraf Hussain, Chhote Sarkar, Sagir Ansari, Shamim Ansari, Sahab Ansari, Dablu Ansari, Raisul Ansari, Meraj Ansari, Saddam Ansari, Anwar Ansari, and many other distinguished individuals.
