A Testament to Unity in the Sarhul Procession: Muslim Brothers Arranged Refreshments

Ranchi: The Sarhul festival, organized by the Jharkhand Pradesh Adivasi Sarna Padhha Samaj, Chakla, showcased a remarkable example of communal unity and brotherhood. During the Sarhul celebrations, a grand procession set out from various locations such as Karma, Irba, Koilari, Pahantoli, Bartoli, and Rukka, with devotees adorned in traditional attire.

To ensure the comfort of the participants, refreshment camps were set up at multiple points, offering free water, roasted gram, and jaggery. Sarhul is a major festival of the tribal community, dedicated to the worship of nature, and is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year. Along the procession route, rest stops and service camps were established in places like Karma and Irba, where devotees were welcomed with cool drinking water, gram, and jaggery.

A notable highlight of this event was the active participation of the Muslim community, who contributed to the refreshments, demonstrating social harmony. Their service-oriented initiative reflected the spirit of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb (a symbol of cultural coexistence). This message of unity and love served as an inspiration for all.

Local residents, social workers, and administration officials praised this harmonious initiative. The organizers described it as a shining example of social unity and cooperation, emphasizing that such efforts strengthen communal harmony and brotherhood.
