International Women’s Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Manrakhan Mahto Group of Institutions

Ranchi: The Manrakhan Mahto Group of Institutions celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the institution’s honorable chairman, Manrakhan Mahto. In his address, he emphasized that women are the foundation of creation, and it is the moral responsibility of every citizen to ensure their respect, safety, and opportunities for development.

The institution’s director, Manoj Kumar Mahto, highlighted the importance of empowering women, stating that only empowered women can build a strong and progressive society. On this occasion, the principals of all the colleges under the institution also shared their thoughts on the significance of International Women’s Day.

During the event, students recited inspiring poems on women’s empowerment and watched scenes from a short film that left a deep impact on everyone present.

The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests, including the institution’s trustees Virendranath Ohdar, Khushbu Singh, Kriti Kajal, Director (Administration) Mukesh Kumar, Meena Kumari and Poonam Kumari.

Additionally, the event was graced by the principals of various colleges: Dr. Dudheshwar Mahto (Principal, Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College), Chitravel V (Principal, Manrakhan Mahto Nursing College), Ragini Kumari (Principal, Manrakhan Mahto Pharmacy College), and Dr. D.K. Sharma (Principal, Manrakhan Mahto Paramedical College). Faculty members and non-teaching staff also actively participated in the celebrations.

The event successfully conveyed the message of women’s empowerment and the importance of creating an environment where women can thrive and lead with dignity and strength.
