Sai Nath University Team Wins Final Match of Cricket Tournament

The tournament teaches youths the importance of healthy competition and dedication:- Abu Nasar

Ranchi– The cricket tournament organized by the Shaheed Sheikh Bhikhari Tikait Umrao Singh Sadbhavna Samiti, Dahutola Gunja, Ormanjhi concluded on Thursday, with 16 teams participating. The final match was played between the teams of Hochar and Sai Nath University. In this match, Hochar’s team batted first and scored 86 runs in 8 overs, while Sai Nath University chased the target successfully, scoring 87 runs in 4 overs without losing any wickets.

During the final match, the chief guest was Abu Nasar (Shadab Ansari), son of the late Haji Ehsan Ansari. Chief guest Abu Nasar (Shadab Ansari) praised the tournament’s organization and emphasized that events like these are crucial for promoting the spirit of sportsmanship in society. He congratulated the players for their excellent performance and wished them a bright future. Shadab Ansari said, “This tournament not only elevates the level of the sport but also teaches the youth the importance of healthy competition and dedication.”

The special guest, Deputy Pramukh Rizwan Ansari, was also present. Rizwan Ansari spoke about the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork. He said, “Sports are not just about winning or losing; they are the result of teamwork, dedication, and hard work. I honor all teams for their efforts.”

In this tournament, the winning team was awarded a trophy along with a prize of ₹45,000, while the runner-up team received a trophy and ₹31,000 as prize money.

On this occasion Mobarak Ansari, Mukhiya Dashmi Minj, Israfil Ansari, Parwej Alam, Taralal Yadav, Sakil Ahmad, Saeed Ansari, Tafeezul Ansari, Baseer Ansari, Safeek Ansari, Pappu, Azad, Sabir, Suhail, Sohrai, Magnu, Prakash, and other sports enthusiasts were also present.
