Educational Tour of Historical Sites by Students of Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College
Ranchi: The trainees of Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College successfully completed an educational tour from January 7, 2025 to January 13, 2025, covering Ranchi, New Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra, visiting various historical and educational sites.

The objective of this educational tour was to familiarize the trainees with historical and cultural heritage along with their academic curriculum. During the tour, the students visited renowned historical landmarks such as Qutub Minar, Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Jal Mahal, Taj Mahal, Red Fort, and Mathura.

Educational tours are an integral part of the B.Ed. curriculum, aiming to enhance students’ intellectual growth, social skills, and practical understanding of subjects. Exploring historical sites helps students gain a deeper understanding of history and the importance of cultural heritage.

On this occasion, the college president, Manrakhan Mahto stated, “Such educational tours contribute significantly to the overall development of students. Visiting historical sites provides them with a deeper understanding of history and improves their subject knowledge.”
The college principal, Dr. Dudheswar Mahto, added, “Educational tours not only impart historical knowledge but also help students develop communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.”
The success of this educational tour was made possible through the significant contributions of the college management, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and trainees.
This tour proved to be an unforgettable experience for the students, enriching their education and helping them understand their responsibilities toward society.
