Mathematics Day Celebrated at Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College

Ranchi: Mathematics Day was celebrated at Manrakhan Mahto B.Ed. College in honor of the birth anniversary of India’s great mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan. The honorable Manrakhan Mahto inaugurated the program by offering flowers at the portrait of Srinivasa Ramanujan.

On this occasion, a mathematics quiz competition was organized. Students from all four houses—Gandhi House, Tagore House, Radhakrishnan House, and Vivekananda House—participated in the competition. Each house sent four students, representing the college’s trainees (M.Ed., B.Ed., and D.El.Ed.). The participants from Vivekananda House performed excellently and secured the first place, while Gandhi House secured second place and Radhakrishnan House took third place.

On this occasion, the principal, Dudheshwar Mahto, stated that mathematics is an essential part of our daily life and is a powerful tool for understanding the world around us.

The event was attended by Trustee Virendra Nath Ohdar, Khushboo Singh, Kriti Kajal, Director Manoj Kumar Mahto, Mukesh Kumar, Administrator Meena Kumari, all faculty members, non-teaching staff, and trainees.
