Ramgarh: On the occasion of Constitution Day, a reading of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution was held in the Collectorate conference hall under the leadership of DC Chandan Kumar. The event was attended by the DDC Robin Toppo, Additional Collector Kumari Geetanjali, along with other district officers and staff members.
The Preamble read was as follows:
“We, the people of India, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic Republic and to secure to all its citizens:
Justice, social, economic, and political;
Liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith, and worship;
Equality of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;
In our Constituent Assembly this 26th day of November, 1949, do hereby adopt, enact, and give to ourselves this Constitution.”
Along with this, the District Information and Public Relations Officer Birendra Prasad, District Social Welfare Officer Indu Prabha Khalko organized a similar reading of the Constitution’s Preamble at the Town Hall. Additionally, the District Public Relations Officer Dr. Prabhat Shankar, DPM JSLPS Rita Singh, and other office heads at both district and block levels also conducted the reading of the Preamble on Constitution Day in their respective offices.
