Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan Begins in Ormanjhi, Women Benefit from Health Services

Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan will run across the country from September 17 to October 2

Ranchi – On the occasion of his 75th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan from Madhya Pradesh. The campaign, aimed at strengthening the health and nutrition of women, adolescent girls, and children, will run nationwide from September 17 to October 2.

During this campaign, dedicated medical and health camps will be organized throughout the country to bring about improvements in the nation’s health landscape. The program will also mark the inauguration of the 8th National Nutrition Month and maternity benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana.

Under this initiative, various health and nutrition-related programs are being conducted in different districts to ensure these services reach as many women and children as possible. As part of this effort, the campaign was formally launched on Wednesday at the Community Health Center in Ormanjhi, located in Ranchi district.

A large number of women from the area participated in the inaugural health camp and availed themselves of medical services and health consultations. Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan will continue to operate regularly until October 2, 2025.

At the inauguration ceremony, Ormanjhi Deputy Pramukh Rizwan Ansari, In-Charge Medical Officer Dr. Renu Bakhla, and District Council Member Sarita Devi jointly lit a ceremonial lamp to mark the beginning of the program. The medical team and local representatives contributed significantly to the successful organization of the event.

Those present on the occasion included Dr. Prachi, Dr. Sahista Naj, Dr. Jessica Dean, Jamil, Abdullah Khan, Gangadhar, Atul, Javed, Sandeep, as well as ANMs Sarita, Geeta, Ustani, and several others.
