Mobin Ansari Loses Four Cows to Lightning Strike, Family Faces Livelihood Crisis
Ranchi: In a tragic incident on Thursday evening around 4:15 PM, four milch cows belonging to Mobin Ansari, a resident of Gunja village in Dahutola (under Ormanjhi Block, Ranchi District), died on the spot after being struck by lightning accompanied by heavy thunder.
The incident occurred while the cows were grazing in an open field, and a sudden lightning bolt from the sky struck them. The deceased animals included one red, one white, one black, and one black-and-white cow. Mobin Ansari sustained his family’s livelihood by selling the milk from these cows. The sudden loss of these animals has placed his family under severe financial distress.
Public Representatives Visit Site, Express Condolences
Upon receiving the news, several local public representatives rushed to the spot, including MLA representative Mubarak Ansari, Village Mukhiya Dasmi Minj, Panchayat Samiti Member Julita Devi, Hussain Ansari, and Saeed Ansari, along with several local residents. They inspected the site and expressed their condolences to the affected family.
The representatives have urged the district administration to provide immediate compensation and relief to Mobin Ansari so that he may rebuild his means of livelihood.
