Muharram Celebrated in Kute with Hussaini Spirit; Traditional Arms Display Echoes Through the Ground

A Festival of Sacrifice, Martyrdom, and Brotherhood — MLA Rajesh Kachhap Delivers a Message of Peace on Muharram

Ranchi:— The sacred festival of Muharram, symbolizing truth, sacrifice, and martyrdom, was celebrated on Sunday with traditional fervor and communal harmony in Kute village of the Sikidiri region. On this occasion, the Markazi Muharram Committee Ormanjhi Eastern Zone and Markazi Muharram Committee Kute jointly organized a fair along with a Tazia gathering and an arms display competition at the Kute Football Ground.

Muharram processions from 10 nearby villages, led by their respective Khalifas, arrived at the venue carrying colorful Tazias and Islamic banners. During the arms display competition, local youths and children showcased astonishing skills with swords, spears, and sticks, captivating the audience. Participants with outstanding performances were honored by the organizing committee with ceremonial swords.

The chief guest, Deputy Leader of the Legislative Party and Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap, said, “Muharram is a symbol of truth’s victory over falsehood, sacrifice, and martyrdom. This festival gives us a message of humanity and peace, which we must imbibe in our daily lives.” Special guest and senior social worker, former Deputy Head Muntazir Ahmad Raza, said that on the land of Karbala, Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his brave companions sacrificed their lives while standing firm for justice and truth instead of bowing to oppression and tyranny. “That is why Yaum-e-Ashoora is not just a date on the Islamic calendar — it reminds us that no matter how tough the circumstances, we must stand unwavering on the path of truth and righteousness.”

Earlier, the organizing committee gave a traditional welcome to the guests by presenting turbans and ceremonial swords.

Prominent guests included senior social worker and former Deputy Pramukh Muntazir Ahmad Raza, Ormanjhi Police Inspector Anil Kumar Tiwari, Sikidiri Police Station In-charge Deepak Kumar Sinha, SI Barun Kumar Hajam, Mukhiya Nazreen Parveen, Ward Members Nazia Parveen and Sheikh Anwar. The event was conducted by Panchayat Samiti Member Amir Hamza Ansari and Muslim Faizi.

The fair’s successful organization saw active contributions from Muntazir Ahmad Raza, Amir Hamza Ansari, Khalik Khan, Yaseen Khan, Noorhasan Ansari, Jamshed Kazmi, Wakeel Ansari, Nawaz Sharif, Nazir Khan, Israfil Ansari, Aamir Raza, Jalal Khan, Sheikh Sajuddin, Rehan Khan, Salauddin Khan, Pappu Khan, Ghulam Shamdhani, Jafar Imam, Kallu Khan, Hafeez Ansari, Rizwan Khan, Rahmat Ansari, and Rizaul Ansari, along with large participation from local villagers.
