Muharram Teaches Us to Stand Against Oppression: Humayun Ansari
Ranchi: Irba Youth Committee President Humayun Ansari (Naeem) elaborated on the significance and message of the festival of Muharram. He said that Muharram is the first month of the Islamic calendar and conveys the message of humanity, brotherhood, and sacrifice. Humayun Ansari (Naeem) explained that during the Battle of Karbala, Imam Hussain and his companions bravely fought against injustice and tyranny, sacrificing their lives to set an example of humanity and truth. For this reason, Muharram is still considered a symbol of mourning and patience across the world.
He said that Muharram reminds us to always follow the path of truth and to raise our voices against evil, no matter how difficult the circumstances may be. He also urged the youth to understand the importance of Muharram and to fulfill their responsibility in maintaining peace and harmony in society. Humayun Ansari (Naeem) appealed to the local administration and the public to help maintain law and order so that no rumors or disturbances spread during Muharram. He said that this observance teaches us patience, peace, and mutual brotherhood, values that we should adopt in our daily lives.
