Congress Holds Organizational Restructuring and Appointment Letter Distribution Program in Ormanjhi
Newly appointed office bearers entrusted with the responsibility of public service
Ranchi: As per the directive of the Ranchi District Rural Congress Committee, the Ormanjhi Block Congress Committee organized an “Organizational Restructuring and Appointment Letter Distribution Program” at Dahu village (Block – Ormanjhi). District Congress President Dr. Rakesh Kiran Mahto attended the program as the chief guest.
On this occasion, Dr. Rakesh Kiran Mahto formally handed over appointment letters to the newly appointed block-level office bearers with the aim of energizing the block-level Congress organization. Encouraging the newly appointed leaders to remain committed to their responsibilities, he emphasized that grassroots-level activity is essential for a stronger organization. He also instructed the team to hold mandatory monthly meetings to ensure effective public grievance redressal and to strengthen community engagement.

Through this conference, a total of 12 office bearers were entrusted with the organizational leadership of Ormanjhi Block. The list is as follows:

Speaking to the media, Ranchi District Rural Congress Committee General Secretary Humayun Ansari said,
“This Congress conference was not merely an appointment letter distribution event, but part of a broader campaign for organizational restructuring. In blocks like Ormanjhi, the role of Congress workers is crucial. We must unite to raise regional issues and prioritize grassroots public outreach. This new team will provide Congress with greater strength at the grassroots level.”
Sarfaraz Shahidi stated,
“I take the responsibility entrusted to me by the organization with complete honesty and dedication. Our top priority is to spread the ideology of Congress to every village and every section of society. Together, we will strengthen the organization down to the booth level and strive to uphold the trust of the people.”
Also present at the event were MLA representative Harimohan Mahto, Block Deputy Chief Rizwan Ansari, General Secretary Humayun Ansari, and many local Congress workers and villagers. This event infused new energy into the regional organization and is expected to play a significant role in strengthening the grassroots presence of the Congress party in the times ahead.
