Salute to Nursing! International Nurses Day Celebrated at Florence Group of Institutions
Ranchi – On the occasion of International Nurses Day, a grand celebration was held at the Florence Group of Institutions. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and cake cutting, infusing the atmosphere with enthusiasm and positive energy.

The chief guest and Secretary of the institution, Zeenat Kauser, addressed the gathering, stating that nursing is one of the most challenging and dedicated professions of our time. Nurses face new challenges every day in their line of duty, yet they continue to serve humanity with unwavering commitment. She congratulated all the students who chose this noble profession and extended her gratitude to the parents who encouraged their children to enter this service-driven field.
The Director of the institution, Dr. Shaheen Kauser, in her inspiring address, said that students should feel proud to have chosen a profession that gives them the opportunity to wipe away the tears of the suffering and bring them hope. “Today, it’s not just lamps that were lit—hope was ignited for humanity,” she said. She urged all students to work hard, continuously expand their knowledge, and bring pride to their families and the institution.

On this occasion, students presented various cultural performances, including dance, singing, and other creative displays. The entire atmosphere was filled with joy and inspiration.
The event was graced by the presence of the institution’s Principal, Vinisa T. Bansriyar; faculty members Jyoti, Vikram Mazumdar, Binita Khalko, Binha Barbara, Shoaib Akhtar, Madhuri, Varsha Kumari, Manisha, Kalam Ansari, Sadiq Ansari, and many other teachers and students.
