Irba — Taziyati Program Held on the Demise of Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Muhammad Vastanvi
Ranchi: A special condolence gathering (Taziyati Program) was organized on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Masjid-e-Hera, Madarsa Mazharul Uloom, Irba, Ranchi, in memory of the renowned Islamic scholar, Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Muhammad Vastanvi, following his passing.
The Taziyati program began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Maulana Gulzar Nadvi, followed by a rendition of Naat-e-Pak by Qari Jan Muhammad.
The keynote speaker, Maulana Samiul Haq Majahiri, shed light on the personality, contributions, and religious and social services of Maulana Vastanvi. He stated that Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Muhammad Vastanvi brought a new dimension to the educational system of madrasas across the country through his foresight, leadership skills, and modern outlook. He was an educator who showed the youth the path to success in both religious and worldly matters. He connected Islamic education with contemporary needs and always promoted the message of humanity, unity, peace, and brotherhood.
Nazim-e-Talimat Mufti Wasiur Rahman Nadvi Rahmani stated that Maulana Vastanvi’s approach to integrating Islamic education with modern requirements serves as an exemplary model in today’s era. He emphasized the need to draw inspiration from his teachings.
Following this, Mufti Furqan Qasmi and Maulana Sanaullah also reflected on the significant contributions of Maulana Vastanvi.
In the concluding part of the Taziyati program, a special prayer was offered for Maulana Vastanvi’s forgiveness and for his elevated status in Jannat-ul-Firdaus.
Prominent attendees at the event included Mufti Wasiur Rahman Nadvi Rahmani, Mufti Furqan Qasmi, Maulana Samiul Haq Majahiri, Maulana Gulzar Nadvi, Qari Jan Muhammad, Maulana Sanaullah, Maulana Mahfuz, Maulana Mahtab, Hafiz Tabrez, Hafiz Salamatullah, Deputy Pramukh Rizwan Ansari, Journalist Muzaffar Hussain, Journalist Rehan Ansari, Mobin Ansari, and others.
