Ranchi:- The Haji Ehsan Ansari Memorial Knockout Night Cricket Tournament 2025, organized under the banner of Florence Group of Institutions, Irba, is currently being held with great enthusiasm at the Irba Football Ground. This highly anticipated tournament will continue until April 15, 2025, concluding with a grand and eagerly awaited final match. A total of 32 teams are participating, with each match consisting of 8 overs, including the first 3 overs designated as powerplay. The overwhelming turnout of spectators and the intense competition among the players have transformed the tournament into a true festival of cricket.

In an electrifying Super Knockout match, Haji Ehsan Ansari Cricket Club delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Bajarmara 11 by a massive margin of 54 runs. Batting first, the Haji Ehsan Ansari Club scored a commendable 93 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 8 overs. The middle-order batsmen played responsibly, stabilizing the innings and building pressure on the opposition.

Chasing the target, Bajarmara 11 had a shaky start and never recovered. The team collapsed to just 39 runs for 9 wickets in their 8 overs, handing Haji Ehsan Ansari Club a convincing win and a place in the next round of the tournament.

The event was further dignified by the presence of Chief Guest and former Member of Parliament Ram Tahal Choudhary, along with Special Guest and noted social worker Abdul Sattar Ansari. Speaking on the occasion, Ram Tahal Choudhary praised the organization of the tournament and stated that, “Sports not only enhance physical and mental well-being but also strengthen social unity and brotherhood.
