Qari Shahnawaz Anwar Completes the Recitation of the Holy Quran in Tarawih at Chirudih
Continue Offering Five Daily Prayers and Reciting the Quran Throughout the Year, Just Like in Ramadan: Mufti Muhtasim Ragib Amjadi
Bokaro, Jharkhand: On the 19th of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, in Chirudih Jama Masjid of Bokaro district, the complete recitation of the Holy Quran was successfully completed during Tarawih prayers under the Imamat of Qari Shahnawaz Anwar. Hundreds of local Muslim brothers, along with esteemed Islamic scholars (Ulama-e-Kiram), participated in this blessed gathering.
On this joyous occasion, a Mahfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) was also organized, where Mufti Muhtasim Ragib Amjadi delivered an important message to the Muslim community. In his speech, he emphasized that Ramadan-ul-Mubarak is a sacred month, during which fasting during the day and offering Tarawih prayers at night are among the most significant acts of worship. Muslims observe these practices diligently to seek the pleasure, mercy, and blessings of Allah.
Importance of Tarawih and Quran Recitation
He further stated that performing Tarawih is a Sunnah Mu’akkadah (emphasized Sunnah), and completing or listening to the entire Quran during Tarawih is also a Sunnah Mu’akkadah. Hence, every Muslim should strive to fulfill this noble act.
Advice to Maintain Worship Beyond Ramadan
Mufti Muhtasim Ragib Amjadi advised Muslims that just as they dedicate themselves to prayers, Quran recitation, and worship during Ramadan, they should maintain the same devotion throughout the year by offering five daily prayers consistently and making Quran recitation a regular part of their lives.
