Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahto Unveils the Poetry Anthology Ravirathi

Ranchi: The grand unveiling of the poetry anthology Ravirathi, meticulously edited by young poet Ravishankar Sah from Deoghar and co-edited by renowned Khortha lyricist Vinay Tiwari, was conducted by Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahto at the Jharkhand Assembly premises. On this occasion, Ravindra Nath Mahto remarked, “Poetry is a significant literary genre that expresses a poet’s sense of beauty and emotions. The poets and writers of Jharkhand are bringing pride to the state with their remarkable creations. There is no shortage of talent in Jharkhand—be it in sports, music, cinema, or literature—people from our state continue to excel in every field. My best wishes to all the contributing poets in this anthology.” Mathura Mahto, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha MLA from Tundi, emphasized, “Poetry fulfills its purpose when readers can truly understand and connect with the emotions and meaning intended by the poet.” Speaking on the occasion, Editor Ravishankar Sah shared that ‘Ravirathi’ is a collaborative poetry collection featuring 75 poignant poems penned by 15 poets from Jharkhand. The anthology brings together both emerging and seasoned poets. Published under the banner of Sahitya Samagam Bharat, ‘Ravirathi’ has been printed by Prachi Digital Publication, Meerut. Expressing his confidence in the book, Sah stated that readers would surely appreciate this collection. Co-editor Vinay Tiwari added, “The poems in this anthology are both engaging and worth preserving. They exhibit rhythm, melody, and an enchanting repetition of words, which naturally captivate the reader.”

The unveiling ceremony was graced by several eminent personalities, including Dev Kumar, author of Main Hoon Jharkhand, contributing poet Mohd. Firoz Alam, young leader Rupesh Tiwari, Saurabh Tiwari, Dr. Anang Mohan Mukherjee, Arjun Mahto, Rajesh Mahto, Ikramul Haque, and many other dignitaries.
